Interacting with the EEOC
Once discrimination allegations are filed against you, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) will contact you. Typically, companies will be asked to provide certain documents pertaining to hiring and firing patterns, promotions, the ethnic make-up of the workplace, or other information deemed relevant. Companies usually have 30 days to respond. Our attorneys can review EEOC requests and counsel you in regard to how an EEOC inquiry or request should be responded to.
